This is taking place after FFX-2 (obviously, since Rikku is wearing her FFX-2 attire)... Don't ask me how Auron got there, it's one of those things I leave up to interpretation.

But it's not impossible considering what happened to Tidus in X-2.

The question is just if Auron would be happy to be back, lol.

Yeah, I do support Aurikku! I've been a fan of them for a long time now, but I had never actually drawn them together, so I decided to finally draw some Aurikku art. I know many people don't like this pairing because of the age gap and because it seems a bit unusual at first, but it really is very cute and funny if it's done in the right way. And by the way, I only really like them having a platonic relationship anyway, so there is no creepiness there.

(I generally don't like my pairings in a pervy way.)

I believe they can learn a lot from each other... Rikku could give Auron some happiness and teach him some about machina or how to become a thief (or maybe not XD) and Auron could teach Rikku to be a little less ditzy or to be a stronger fighter.

I first noticed that I like them together during their little quarrel in the Thunder Plains. XD I just somehow liked the fact that Rikku was the only one (besides Tidus) who didn't act all respectful and intimidated in Auron's presence... It was cute when she asked him to be more comforting to her. And he even made her fight her fear of thunder, because she was so mad at him. For some reason it often looked like they were hanging out together, too. XD
I also liked how he often defended her when she was discriminated against. (But of course that was mainly because he was the only one of the group who knew the truth and that the Al Bhed were not at fault.)

Last but not least, I find it very interesting that when Rikku uses her Samurai dressphere in X-2 she wears clothes that are similar to Auron's while wielding his Katana. And when using the Dark Knight dressphere she even wields Auron's Masamune while Yuna wields Tidus' Caladbolg. I believe that's saying something.

But it's just my humble opinion, of course!

hmm... Auron with a Dressphere.... the mind boggles. Him as a Dark Knight would just be plain EVIL.
Though him in the songstress form would just make me die from laughing.
